View The Masters
IIID Vadodara organized the inaugural movie carnival show, “VIEW THE MASTERS”, showcasing three greats Ar. F L Wright, Ar. Frank Gehry and Ar. Maya Lin. The program was organized at the FGI, Federation Hall, Vadodara on 28th June 2013.
Ar. Karan Grover’s commentary and presentation made the movie show a memorable one for the audience; his commentary not only made the movies more understandable but at the same time explained the minutest of the details. The movie carnival also included the show of the movie “JUGAAD” by You tube fame Brooke Brodack from the USA.
The architecture students of Vadodara put up a wonderful “Pop-Up Bazaar”. Artifacts made from various materials collected from the famous “Friday Market” in Vadodara, were exhibited and sold there and the income was directed towards welfare of the needy architecture students.
This effort from the students was largely appreciated by all. The Building Giants team covered the event and here are some of the snapshots from the event:
